Our Gratitude

It means a great deal to me to be able to work with noble persons like Bill Cook to change the lives of these children living on the streets of Kampala.  I know so many will turn out to be great people in the near future. I am grateful to Mark Cotham for meeting us at our point of need.

Thank you also to my dear friend Marc Baisden for always encouraging me spiritually and always lending an ear to listen to me. I admit I'm still vulnerable because of my childhood history so sometimes I need some extra love. Thanks for always playing a fatherhood role in my life. I have a brother in Christopher Aaron Grills and a sister in Yessica L. Mendoza and am grateful they constantly have my back.

And now I look to you, my friends around the globe.  I know many of you face daily challenges and struggles of your own.  I just need others to understand that I need you.  I need you to see these boys and girls.  I need you to see them through the eyes of your hearts.  I may not know you by name, but I believe the fact that you are reading through this site tells me that you do care.  I am grateful.  Our boys and girls are grateful as well.  Thank you.
